Almost Done for Wizard World Philly

Still getting ready for Wizard World, and it’s still a fun ride. I have a few more prints to finish, and I hope to add some important ones I wanted to do. The above is Wash from Firefly. I posted before, but I wasn’t satisfied with how the skin looked, so I re made it and I’m glad with where it’s at now.

The above is a Barbara Gordon Batgirl in progress. I hope to finish this piece this week. I have a few commissions I’m also getting done with as well.

On top of the work, I’m missing movies! I’m missing Iron Man 3, The Great Gatsby, and I might miss Star Trek! Help meee!

Dr. Who Fan Art

20130429-081253.jpg

I’ve been sucked into the fascinating world of Dr. Who. I have lots of friends who enjoy this series and boy do they have great taste! Never doubted it for a minute, I’m just always behind on catching up with a popular television series. Dr. Who is already my favorite British tv series along with Mr. Bean. Someday I may create some Mr. Bean fan art… Someday :)

Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman

Working on a few things this week to add to my convention/appearance list but also to take some stress off myself. From the current events in the world, our nation, and my personal life I had to get away for a bit.

The Rock Steady Vibe

This started from having the music of No Doubt stuck in my head over the weekend. Every time I listen to them I always go back to being a little girl watching the “Just A Girl” video for the first time. It was 1995 or 1996 and I was around 9 or 10, in my room making a strong connection with Gwen, Tony, Tom, and Adrian. Tragic Kingdom was the first CD I ever had. Waaaaay before iTunes and MP3′s. I fell in love with the new music I was exposing myself to along with discovering Natalie Merchant, Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Alanis Morrisette. The 90′s were great.

Fast forward to today and I still love them. They make me so happy and I feel like I went through some of the subject matter from my favorite songs. We all lived through a “Don’t Speak” moment. We still go through it time and time again. In the end we end up having to “Push and Shove” in order to have a “Hella Good” time in life.

Hope I’m not boring anyone with my Firefly series :) I have to play catch up on time for Wizard World Philly. I’m switching up on the elements but still deciding on whether to have their names on it or not. Whatever I choose, It will be fun. :)

Thanks for the continued support!

Kryptonian Progress

I’m enjoying the progress I’m making, I think I’ll be done sooner than I thought. Now I’m thinking of The Smiths and New Order: “How Soon is Now?” “Sooner than You Think” You can see how my mind is all over the place. “
